As boilers are an important part of HVAC and air conditioning systems the maintenance of boilers typically falls within the remit of Tecair.
Boilers are installed in large buildings to provide cost-efficient hot water. The hot water is used for both heating of air in an air conditioning system or in relation to hot water which can either be preheating for a domestic hot water service or heating the water for domestic use directly.
Boiler maintenance is a specialist field and our highly trained technicians are able to keep your heating equipment in good working order for the life of the equipment. We are also able to quote and install new boilers as such requirements develop. This involves looking at the engineering of the pre-existing system and the surrounding pipework, pumps and controllers that integrate into the building management system.
Modular boilers are our preferred new boiler type as we can do large systems while at the same time having easier transport into a building. Traditional boilers can be extremely large and heavy and require a significant crane and often construction works to remove walls so as to transport the boiler into position. This can be further exacerbated with rooftop plant where even helicopters were a traditional method of moving the boiler up into position. Modular boilers allow vertical lift movement plus stair walkers which is a far more cost-effective way to install a large boiler.
